Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
It has been a little while since I have run a charity auction right
\nhere \u201cAround Town on the Web,\u201d so there is probably no better time
\nto jump back in the mix\u2026just in time for the holidays! <\/p>\n
This is a time of year that so many of us look forward to spending
\nwith family and friends. For one reason or another however, 40
\nstudents at the Cardinal Cushing Centers here in Hanover will not be
\nable to go home. So, fundraising is in full swing to throw them a
\nChristmas party with pizza, ice cream, music, Santa, and a big bag of
\npresents for each student. Thanks to private donations, this party has
\nhappened for the last nine years and will happen again this Friday,
\nDecember 21st! <\/p>\n
This year, there are a couple of Celtics tickets up for auction right
\nhere on \u201cAround Town on the Web\u201d \u2013 with the proceeds all going
\ntoward the Cardinal Cushing Centers party.<\/p>\n
Two tickets are available for the following game and seats:<\/p>\n
Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls (Deng, Boozer and Noah come to town\u2026maybe
\nD Rose will be back!)

The 2 seats have total face value of $160. For those who are
\nrelatively new to \u201cAround Town on the Web\u201d, here\u2019s how it works.
\nBidding will begin at $100 at 11:00 a.m. on *Tuesday, December 18th
\n*and will be accomplished simply by sending an e-mail to
\ncathyhb@atotw.com
\n . Once you enter a bid, you will be added to the distribution list
\nthat will keep you updated on the latest bid (as best as humanly
\npossible!). Bids will be accepted until exactly 11:00 a.m. on
\n*Wednesday, December 19th.* If two bids for the same amount are
\nreceived, the earlier bid will take precedence. So, it is to your
\nadvantage to bid your best price early. Bids \/received\/ by me after
\n11:00 a.m. (computer clock time) on *Wednesday* will not be
\nconsidered. So don\u2019t wait until it is too late!<\/p>\n
Gift someone special with some Celtics tickets and gift the students
\nat the Cardinal Cushing Centers at the same time. If you are the
\nwinning bidder, your tickets will be delivered to you before
\nChristmas. Mark your calendar and send your bids to me at
