Please use this information as a jumping off<br \/>\npoint to follow the gymnasts this winter. A listing of team members<br \/>\nand coach contact information follows in the body of this e-mail,<br \/>\nalso.<br \/>\nAs written directly by Coach Draheim: \u201cThe Hanover High School<br \/>\ngymnastics team had 2 victories this past weekend. The girls did<br \/>\nfabulous. We had a lot of &#8216;newbies&#8217; who were new to gymnastics and<br \/>\nable to compete, and I couldn&#8217;t have been more proud.<br \/>\nCongratulations to: Abby Goodson, Jess Gardiner, Kelsey Kosak, Maura<br \/>\nKelly and Sarah Powers for a job well done in their first ever<br \/>\nperformances in a competition.<br \/>\nAnother congratulations to our other competitors: Alyson Byrne;<br \/>\nBreanna Harris; (Captain) Brittany Ainslie; Devan Martin; Jackie<br \/>\nParkes; Jessie Williams; Kaitlyn Powers and Marina Goba. I would like<br \/>\nto give a special shout out to the other members of our team whose<br \/>\nassistance during the meets was invaluable: Erika Nelson, Haley Kmito,<br \/>\nKylie Chetwynde and Nicole Manning. Missing from the meets were Hayley<br \/>\nParker and (Captain) Mikaela Draheim.<br \/>\nJAN 5, 2013<br \/>\nHanover: 121.9 vs. Bridgewater\/Raynham: 119.9<br \/>\nThe Hanover High School gymnastics team defeated Bridgewater\/Raynham.<br \/>\nBrittany Ainslie placed 2nd in the all-around with a score of 32.6.<br \/>\nBrittany also secured 1st place on the balance beam with an 8.5, and<br \/>\nan 8.9 gave her 2nd on the vault.<br \/>\nKaitlyn Powers placed 3rd in the all-around with a 31.3, also placing<br \/>\n2nd on floor and beam with an 8.6 and 7.8 respectively. Devan Martin<br \/>\nplaced 3rd on bars with a 7.4.<\/p>\n<p>JAN 6, 2013<br \/>\nHanover: 124.8 vs. Brockton: 113.6<br \/>\nThe Hanover High School gymnastics team defeated Brockton. Brittany<br \/>\nAinslie led to the girls to victory, achieving 1st place in the<br \/>\nall-around with a score of 32.7 . Brittany also took 1st on beam with<br \/>\nan 8.5, and 2nd on vault and floor with an 8.1 for both. Kaitlyn<br \/>\nPowers placed 2nd in the all-around with a 32.4. Kaitlyn took 1st<br \/>\nplace on floor with an 8.9, 2nd place on beam with an 8.0 and 3rd on<br \/>\nbars with a 7.9. Devan Martin led the girls on bars, taking 1st with a<br \/>\n7.9.
