Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nEven though ATOTW does not usually cover individual sporting event
\nresults (we all would be inundated with waaaaayyy too many e-mails if
\nI did!), I am happy to call your attention to the great results and
\ngeneral information just in from the self-funded gymnastics team at
\nHanover High School. Please use this information as a jumping off
\npoint to follow the gymnasts this winter. A listing of team members
\nand coach contact information follows in the body of this e-mail,
\nalso.
\nAs written directly by Coach Draheim: \u201cThe Hanover High School
\ngymnastics team had 2 victories this past weekend. The girls did
\nfabulous. We had a lot of ‘newbies’ who were new to gymnastics and
\nable to compete, and I couldn’t have been more proud.
\nCongratulations to: Abby Goodson, Jess Gardiner, Kelsey Kosak, Maura
\nKelly and Sarah Powers for a job well done in their first ever
\nperformances in a competition.
\nAnother congratulations to our other competitors: Alyson Byrne;
\nBreanna Harris; (Captain) Brittany Ainslie; Devan Martin; Jackie
\nParkes; Jessie Williams; Kaitlyn Powers and Marina Goba. I would like
\nto give a special shout out to the other members of our team whose
\nassistance during the meets was invaluable: Erika Nelson, Haley Kmito,
\nKylie Chetwynde and Nicole Manning. Missing from the meets were Hayley
\nParker and (Captain) Mikaela Draheim.

\nHanover: 121.9 vs. Bridgewater\/Raynham: 119.9
\nThe Hanover High School gymnastics team defeated Bridgewater\/Raynham.
\nBrittany Ainslie placed 2nd in the all-around with a score of 32.6.
\nBrittany also secured 1st place on the balance beam with an 8.5, and
\nan 8.9 gave her 2nd on the vault.
\nKaitlyn Powers placed 3rd in the all-around with a 31.3, also placing
\n2nd on floor and beam with an 8.6 and 7.8 respectively. Devan Martin
\nplaced 3rd on bars with a 7.4.<\/p>\n

\nHanover: 124.8 vs. Brockton: 113.6
\nThe Hanover High School gymnastics team defeated Brockton. Brittany
\nAinslie led to the girls to victory, achieving 1st place in the
\nall-around with a score of 32.7 . Brittany also took 1st on beam with
\nan 8.5, and 2nd on vault and floor with an 8.1 for both. Kaitlyn
\nPowers placed 2nd in the all-around with a 32.4. Kaitlyn took 1st
\nplace on floor with an 8.9, 2nd place on beam with an 8.0 and 3rd on
\nbars with a 7.9. Devan Martin led the girls on bars, taking 1st with a
\n7.9. Breanna Harris took 3rd on vault with an 8.0.\u201d
