Looking for some indoor winter fun for your young children? The
\nFriends of the John Curtis Free Library are pleased to announce a
\nsix-week art program for children ages 3 – 5 years that will begin at
\nthe library in February. <\/p>\n
Kreative Kids, taught by Karen Cass (a Hanover artist and private
\neducator, www.karencass.com
\n ), will provide children ages 3 – 5 with an introduction to basic art
\ntechniques while focusing on nature and the winter season. This class
\nwill meet on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. \u2013 12:00 p.m. at the library
\nbeginning on February 6 through March 20 (skipping February 20 during
\nschool vacation week). Parents are invited to stay during the class to
\nassist their children.<\/p>\n
This class will support 10 children and is fully funded by the Friends
\nof the Library with participants asked to pay only a $10 supply fee.
\nRegistration is happening now at the children\u2019s circulation desk at
\nthe library with your $10 supply payment. Preference is given to
\nchildren who have not taken this class before. For more information
