Working together to strengthen the partnership between the Town of
\nHanover and its vital business community, the Town and the Hanover
\nChamber of Commerce have jointly announced the scheduling of the 2013
\n\u201cState of the Town\u201d address. <\/p>\n
The address will be held at the Hanover Town Hall on Thursday,
\nFebruary 7th, 2013, at 7:30 a.m. A breakfast will include an update on
\ntown affairs by Chairman of the Board of Selectmen John Barry and Town
\nManager Troy Clarkson. Representatives from the Hanover School
\nDepartment will attend with an update on school activities. Chamber
\nrepresentatives will provide an update on the business environment in
\ntown. Town department heads will also be on hand to answer questions
\nand engage with the public in attendance. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve held this meeting as a dinner meeting with some success,
\nbut wanted to breathe new life and new energy into the event to match
\nthe energy with which the Board of Selectmen are supporting the
\nbusiness community,\u201d said Chamber President Cathy Follett. \u201cOur
\ncooperative working relationship with town government is fostered by
\nour annual state of the town meeting at which chamber members as well
\nas the Hanover community will have an opportunity to engage in
\nface-to-face discussions with town officials, ensuring progress for
\nHanover,\u201d she continued. <\/p>\n
