Dear fellow Hanoverians:

\nThe Spirit of Hanover Community Service Award Committee is accepting
\nnominations for the recipient of the 12th Annual Spirit of Hanover
\nCommunity Service Award.<\/p>\n
This Award is presented annually to an individual who best exemplifies
\nthe spirit of Hanover by voluntarily giving selflessly of their time,
\nenergy and talent to the Town and its citizens thus enriching our
\nlives, fostering a true sense of community and inspiring us all to a
\nhigher level of service.<\/p>\n
Nominations should be in writing and should articulate *in detail* how
\nthe nominee satisfies these criteria. Nominees from prior years are
\nnot considered for this year\u2019s award unless re-nominated.<\/p>\n
Nominations must be received by not later than March 21, 2013 and
\nshould be addressed to:<\/p>\n

Past recipients of the Award include Mrs. Virginia Szejnar, Mrs.
\nBarbara Barker, Mr. Richard \u201cDick\u201d Eaton, Mrs. Jean Migre, Mrs.
\nLois Van Doren, Mr. John Thomson, Mrs. Barbara Itz, Mrs. Catherine
\nHarder-Bernier, Mrs. Joanne B. Cure, Mr. Harold (Hal) D. Thomas, and
\nMr. Roger A. Leslie, Sr.<\/p>\n
Receipt of the Award is commemorated with a reception and by having
\nthe recipients name inscribed on a perpetual plaque which is
\nprominantly displayed in the foyer of the Town Hall. <\/p>\n
