Kids ages 8 – 12 are invited to a two-part workshop at the John Curtis
\nLibrary to learn how to take beautiful photographs from two award
\nwinning photographers, Jeanne McKenna and Rosemary Sampson.<\/p>\n
Saturday, April 13th from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Learn tips about
\nlighting, setting up shots, and framing a photo, then head outside to
\nput the new skills you’ve learned to the test! Kids can bring their
\nown digital camera or buy a single-use disposable camera (about $10 at
\nCVS).<\/p>\n
Saturday, April 20th from 12:00 p.m. \u2013 1:00 p.m.: Bring in some of
\nyour favorite printed photos you took from the workshop and show them
\noff to your fellow photographers and our experts! The library will
\nthen make a display of your fantastic photos.<\/p>\n
Sign up at the Children’s Desk; there is no charge for this two-part
\nworkshop. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the John Curtis
