On Saturday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m., singer-songwriter Bill Staines will
\nperform a benefit concert for the youth mission trip in the sanctuary
\nof the First Congregational Church, 547 Hanover Street. <\/p>\n
For over 40 years, Bill has traveled throughout North America singing
\nhis songs and delighting audiences. He has recorded 26 albums
\n(including two children\u2019s albums), written over 300 songs, and is
\none of the most popular singers on the folk circuit today. Bill has
\nappeared on A Prairie Home Companion*, *Public Radio\u2019s Mountain
\nStage and HBO\u2019s award winning series Deadwood. Many artists
\nincluding Peter, Paul and Mary, Makem and Clancy, Nanci Griffith,
\nMason Williams, and Glen Yarborough have recorded Bill\u2019s songs. <\/p>\n
Refreshments will be served at intermission. Tickets are $16 for
\nadults and $7 for children ages 12 years and under. For tickets and
