Hanover Community Television (HCTV) is looking for a new visual
\nidentity and needs your help. HCTV is seeking current Hanover
\nstudents* who can design a creative, innovative and professional logo
\ndesign. The logo should be recognizable and help promote the
\norganization. The rest is up to you! Please read below for more
\ndetails regarding logo design, contest rules and submission
\nrequirements.<\/p>\n
How to Enter the Contest
\nThe contest began on *April 22, 2013*. Submissions will be accepted
\nthrough *June 1, 2013*. Winners will be announced via the HCTV
\nwebsite, social media websites and by direct contact to the winners’
\ncontact information provided. In order for your entry to be submitted
\nand reviewed by the judges, all entries must be:
\n1. Submitted directly to HCTV through the online link on HCTV\u2019s
\nwebsite, or by e-mail to hanoverctv@hanoverschools.org<\/p>\n

\n2. Submitted in their original source file.
\n3. Submitted by a student who lives or attends school in the Town of
\nHanover*.<\/p>\n
*Hanover students include any student (K-12) who resides in the Town
\nof Hanover, MA or attends any of the schools that are located in
\nHanover, MA.<\/p>\n
Logo Requirements
\n\u2022 *Professional*: This logo may be featured on the HCTV website,
\nsocial media platforms and other mediums (stationery, pamphlets,
\nt-shirts etc). As a result, while they want the logo to be
\neye-catching, it must still be legible.
\n\u2022 *Color*: There are no limitations and any colors may be used.
\nHowever, the logo must look good in color (if any) or black and white.
\n\u2022 *Integrity*: Logos cannot contain copyrighted material. Logos must
\nhave been created and edited by the contestant(s). Logos may not
\ninclude images or licensed images that have been previously published.
\nMust be easily reproducible and scalable for large and small
\nformatting.<\/p>\n
Contest Details
\nThe Hanover Community Access Media Committee will select finalists.
\nThe finalists\u2019 designs will be on display at their booth at Hanover
\nDay where the public will vote for their favorite logo. The winning
\nlogo will be decided based on public vote and committee vote.
\nContestants agree that HCTV may publish their logo and name(s) and may
\nuse both for advertising campaigns and\/or marketing materials in the
\nfuture. Contestants assign all ownership rights, including all
\nintellectual property rights to the logo, to HCTV. Additionally, HCTV
\nmay alter, modify or revise the logo as it sees necessary to achieve
\nthe goals of the Station. HCTV reserves the right to not select a
\nwinner if, in its sole discretion, no suitable entries are received. <\/p>\n
Prize
\nContest winner will receive a $500 scholarship (and bragging rights!).<\/p>\n
