\nThis summer\u2019s bandstand concert series begins on Sunday, July 7 at
\nthe Hanover Senior Center at 665 Center Street in Hanover. Doors open
\nat 5:00 p.m. for the Art Exhibit. The concerts run from 6:00 p.m. \u2013
\n8:00 p.m. The Dixie Diehards are performing on July 7.<\/p>\n
This year, Hanover Parks and Recreation is partnering with the Hanover
\nCouncil on Aging to offer an exciting series titled \u201cArt for All
\nAges.\u201d Along with lively music, there will be a juried art show, art
\nexhibits by children and seniors, 60 second skits, face painting and
\nchalk art for kids. Raffles, prizes, hot dogs, cold drinks and snacks
\nwill be available.<\/p>\n
Weather permitting the concerts will be held outside on the lovely
\ngrounds of the Senior Center. Bring your chairs and blankets. If the
\nweather does not cooperate, the show will go on inside the Senior
\nCenter.<\/p>\n
Additional concerts will be held on Sunday, July 21 – Rusty Skipper;
\nSunday, August 4 – Desperate Measures; and Sunday, August 18 – Grupo
\nFantasia.<\/p>\n
