\nCathy Harder-Bernier, Hanover\u2019s Town Clerk, recently recommended to
\nthe Board of Selectmen a Saturday, September 28th, 2013 Special Town
\nElection to fill the vacancy on the Board of Selectmen. The Board of
\nSelectmen has set the date of the Special Town Election for that day.
\nAt an upcoming Board of Selectman\u2019s meeting, Harder-Bernier will
\nrecommend an Election Calendar, which establishes dates such as the
\nlast day to submit nomination papers to the Registrar\u2019s for
\ncertification, and the last day to object or withdraw from candidacy,
\nalong with the last day to register to vote.
\nPlease be advised that all interested candidates for the vacancy on
\nthe Board of Selectmen should obtain nomination papers from the
\nClerk’s Office after the Selectmen set the Election Calendar.
\nNomination papers need to be signed by 50 or more registered voters.
\nInterested candidates for the vacancy on the Board of Selectmen are
\nencouraged to ask questions of the Clerk\u2019s Office during normal Town
