Hanover residents are hereby notified that the Board of Selectmen has
\nset the calendar for the Special Town Election to be held at Hanover
\nHigh School on Saturday, September 28, 2013. The election will be held
\nto fill the current vacancy on the Board of Selectmen. The important
\nand relevant dates for the election are as follows:<\/p>\n
Last day to obtain nomination papers, by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8<\/p>\n
Last day to submit nomination papers to the Registrars
\n of Voters for certification, by 5:00 p.m. Monday, August 12<\/p>\n
Last day to file nomination papers with Town Clerk, by
\n 5:00 p.m. Monday, August 26<\/p>\n
Last day to object or withdraw, by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28<\/p>\n
Last day to register voters for Special Town Election, by
\n 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 6<\/p>\n
Last day to post or publish warrant for Special Town
\n Election Friday, September 20<\/p>\n
Special Town Election, 10:00 a.m. \u2013 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28<\/p>\n
All interested candidates for the Selectman\u2019s position are also
\nhereby informed that nomination papers will be available for
\ndistribution in the Town Clerk\u2019s Office by Friday, July 19th during
\nnormal Town Hall business hours. As a reminder, Town Hall closes at
\nnoon on Fridays. The Town Clerk\u2019s Office is located on the lower
\nlevel of Town Hall, 550 Hanover Street in Hanover.<\/p>\n
