The Hanover Cultural Council is seeking grant proposals for
\ncommunity-oriented arts, humanities, and science programs. The
\npostmark deadline is October 15 for applications from organizations,
\nschools, and individuals for grants that support cultural activities.
\nAccording to Council Chairperson Katie Duff, grants can support a
\nvariety of artistic projects and activities in Hanover, including
\nexhibits, festivals, field trips, short-term artist residencies or
\nperformances in schools, workshops, and lectures.<\/p>\n
This year, the Hanover Cultural Council will distribute about $4,250
\nin grants. Previously funded projects include: Plimouth Plantation
\nLibrary Passes, Harbour Choral Arts Society, Hanover Diversity
\nCommittee\u2014Diversity Day at the Hanover Mall, Hanover High School
\nchoral music programs, Mass Audubon \u201cOwl Prowl\u201d at Hanover COA,
\nHanover Historical Society’s \u201cRagging the Scale,\u201d and more.<\/p>\n
