Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nThe Town of Hanover Town Clerk\u2019s Office reminds voters that polls
\nfor the Special Town Election will be open only from 10:00 a.m. \u2013
\n2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28th. This election is being held to
\nfill the vacancy on the Board of Selectmen.
\nTown Clerk Cathy Harder-Bernier said that the polling hours were set
\nby the Board of Selectmen with her full support. \u201cWith only one race
\non the ballot, it made sense to save the town some money and hold
\nshorter election hours. I encourage registered voters to plan their
\nvoting strategy ahead of time so that they may cast their votes on
\nSaturday and be a part of this important election to fill the vacancy
\non the Board of Selectmen\u201d.
\nAll four precincts vote at Hanover High School, 287 Cedar Street.
\nThere are three candidates: Brian E. Barthelmes, Mark Christensen, and
\nNancy A. Leonard vying for the seat vacated by Gary Young last spring.
