Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nHanover Cub Scouts Pack 39 would like to remind all Hanover residents
\nabout their annual Christmas Tree Pick-Up and Recycling Service. The
\nscouts will take away your discarded Christmas tree on Saturday,
\nJanuary 4th, 2014. The requested donation is $10 per tree.
\nResidents may contact the scouts for tree pickup via email at
\nxmastree_pickup@yahoo.com. If you prefer, you may call 781-217-0187.
\nTell them your name, address and phone number. Trees should be
\ncurbside by 8:00 a.m. on January 4th. Please place a check (payable to
\nPack 39) in a plastic bag and attach it to the tree.
\nThis event is their annual fundraiser for the Scouts and integrates
\ncommunity service with environmental awareness. There are several area
\nbusinesses that donate their trucks and drivers to assist them in
\ncollecting the trees. The Hanover DPW allows the scouts the use of
\ntheir space and to bring the trees to them for recycling.
