{"id":211,"date":"2009-01-22T18:41:25","date_gmt":"2009-01-22T13:41:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/atotw.com\/archive\/?p=211"},"modified":"2009-01-22T18:41:25","modified_gmt":"2009-01-22T13:41:25","slug":"rachels-challenge-is-next-thursday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atotw.com\/archive\/?p=211","title":{"rendered":"Rachel&#8217;s Challenge is next Thursday"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"3DSection1\">\n<p class=\"3DMsoNormal\">Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoNormal\">The Hanover Foundation  for<br \/>\nEducational Enrichment proudly invites all residents to attend a  community<br \/>\npresentation of &quot;Rachel&#8217;s Challenge&quot; on Thursday, January 29,  at 7:00<br \/>\nPM, in the high school auditorium.&nbsp; Rachel Scott was the first  person<br \/>\nkilled at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999.&nbsp; Rachel&#8217;s acts  of<br \/>\nkindness and compassion coupled with the content of her six diaries have  become<br \/>\nthe foundation for one of the most life-changing school programs in  America.&nbsp;<br \/>\nThrough its annual Grants Awards Program, the Foundation voted to  allocate<br \/>\n$4550 to fund this important project . An award of this magnitude would  not be<br \/>\npossible without the generous support of our fundraising efforts given  by the<br \/>\nentire Hanover community. <\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoNormal\">Powerful audio\/video  footage of<br \/>\n&#8220;Rachel&#8217;s Challenge&#8221; will be shown to students in a one-hour  school<br \/>\npresentation, followed by a 45-minute training session involving both  adult and<br \/>\nstudent leaders.
