Healing in Hanover: The History of Hanover Doctors 1727-1927<\/p>\n
Have you ever wondered why so many early doctors used leeches? Or where
\nearly medical cadavers came from? Well, here is your chance to find out.
\nOn Friday, March 21st Rachel Lovett, Executive Director of the Hanover
\nHistorical Society, will delve into the fascinating realm of early New
\nEngland medicine. The talk will highlight cures, case studies, and
\ncuriosities. Lovett will speak about early Hanover’s doctor’s medical
\npractices and social history. Herbal medicines will be on display to show
\nhow many of the same techniques still exist to this day. Don’t miss this
\nopportunity to journey back to the doctor’s office of Hanover’s past!<\/p>\n
The event includes appetizers, dinner, and libations.
