Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n

The Hanover Parks and Recreation Department has created its
\nown e-mail distribution list for the purpose of distributing information
\nregarding up-coming recreation programs.  Once you (or a member of your
\nfamily) participates in a program, you’ll be added to the list.  But,
\nwhat if you haven’t been added to the list yet?  E-mail recreation@hanover-ma.gov today, or
\nstay tuned to “Around Town on the Web”!  In the meantime, and
\nat the risk of duplicating e-mails for some of you, I offer the following cut-and-pasted
\ncommuniqué from Marc Craig, the Hanover Recreation Administrator:<\/p>\n

****Park
\nand Rec Summer Program Info Nights<\/span><\/b>****<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

These
\ninformation nights are to notify parents of the changes in Park and Rec for
\nthis upcoming summer.  While these nights are not mandatory, I HIGHLY
\nsuggest that you attend. For parents with multiple children, you will only need
\nto attend one night. If your assigned night does not work you may attend a
\ndifferent one.  These info sessions will be held at the Town Hall starting
\npromptly at 7. I look forward to seeing you there.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zumba
\nhas become a humongous hit. The first session is about half-way through, but
\nfeel free to drop in for $10 per night. Classes are held at 7:30 PM on Tuesdays
\nat the Hanover Boys Club. A second session will be offered starting February 24th.
\nWe have also added a Friday morning class at 9:15 AM starting February 26th.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

***CPR***<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

CPR
\nClasses are held monthly at the Town Hall. The next class is February 4th
\nat 6PM. The class costs $50.<\/span><\/p>\n

***Disney
\non Ice***<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

 During
\nFebruary Vacation (President’s Day) we are headed back to the TD
\nBanknorth Garden to enjoy another Disney on Ice show. The bus will leave at 11
\nAM from the Town Hall for the 1PM show on February 16th. Ticket and
\nBus ride is only $25 per person.<\/span><\/p>\n

***Jonas
\nBrothers 3D Concert***<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

After
\nthe HUGE success of our fall movie we decided to do it once again at Patriot
\nCinemas. This time we will be going to see the Jonas Brothers 3D Concert, if
\nyou haven’t heard of it ask your kids I guarantee they have. Parents can
\ndrop their kids off at the movie theater, and they will be fully supervised by
\nmy staff. (It is a great way you can get out of seeing ANOTHER Disney movie,
\nand have some alone time!) We have reserved a theater for the 11AM showing on
\nFebruary 28th. The cost of $12 includes movie, popcorn and a drink. <\/span><\/p>\n

***Scrapbooki ng
\nClass***<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\nThis half day Tuesday program held at the Town Hall. Your son or daughter will
\nlove a GIANT box of Legos spread across the floor. Allow them to create
\ntowering buildings while you take some much needed time off.  The next
\nLego day is February 24th. Classes are from 2PM- 4PM for $7.<\/span><\/p>\n

***Summer
\nTrips***<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

 We
\nare offering some amazing trips coming this summer. First, is a trip to Toronto
\nMay 29th-31st for a Red Sox game. Second, is a trip to
\nBaltimore\/Washington DC July 31st- August 2nd for a Red
\nSox game and tour of DC. Third, I am working with AAA to get a Hanover
\nRecreation 9 day cruise<\/b> lined up, leaving from New Jersey headed down to
\nthe Caribbean. More info will be available at the Park and Rec Info Sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n$85.<\/span><\/p>\n
