Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have fielded several inquiries regarding
\n“Rachel’s Challenge”, the Columbine High School tragedy-based
\nprogram that is supported by the Hanover Foundation and scheduled to be held this
\nThursday, January 29th.  It is a powerful program and I am
\npsyched that it is coming to Hanover!  Parents are wondering if their
\nchildren will already attend, if it is suitable for younger children, or if
\nthey themselves will be able to go.  With special thanks to Korrie Jones
\nof the Hanover High School Faculty, here are some further details for your
\ninformation:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Schedule of Events – Thursday, 1\/29\/08<\/u><\/p>\n

8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.       1st
\nmorning assembly for 9th and 11th graders<\/p>\n

9:10 a.m. – 10:10 a.m.     2nd
\nmorning assembly for 10th and 12th graders<\/p>\n

10:20 a.m. – 11:20 a.m.   3rd morning
\nassembly for 8th graders<\/p>\n

12:30 a.m. – 2:06 a.m.     Friends of
\nRachel training for PACT team leaders at the High School and
\nvolunteer students, including 27 8th graders.<\/p>\n

7:00 p.m.                     & nbsp;      Community
\nevening program for all members of the Hanover community.  <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Thursday evening program is designed and suitable for
\nadults and children ages 11 and up.  Parents of children younger than 11 should
\nuse their discretion as they decide whether or not to bring those children –
\nand certainly plan to take the time to discuss Columbine before the program.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All events will be held at the high school.  There will
\nalso be baked goods and drinks for sale to help raise money for the P.A.C.T.
\n(Pass on kindness; Act by reaching out; Connect with others; Teach each other
\ncompassion and respect)\/Team Room Program.  Thanks to the HFEE and
\nsupportive residents of Hanover for providing this awesome opportunity for our
\ncommunity.  See you there!<\/p>\n
