\nDid you know that the Hanover Historical Society offers pre-packaged group
\nprograms at their museums year round? Programs for both children and adults
\nare available for a variety of groups including mothers groups, girl\/boy
\nscouts, school groups, home school, small reunions, meet-ups and more.
\nChildren’s programs include: \u201cFor Hearth and Home: The Colonial Herb
\nGarden\u201d, \u201cOn Fire: Discovering Hanover’s Fire Stations and The National
\nFireworks Company\u201d, \u201cRebecca Stetson’s 1786 Tea Party\u201d, \u201cShoe
\nShapes: The Hanover Shoe Industry\u201d, \u201cLife in an Early New England
\nTown\u201d, \u201cHistory Mystery\u201d, \u201cWalking Tours: South Hanover, Four
\nCorners, or Hanover Center\u201d, \u201cCaptain Smith’s Sea Chest\u201d, and
\n\u201cMommy and Me at the Museum\u201d. Adult programs include \u201cAnatomy of a
\nStone Wall\u201d, \u201cGraves and Gossip Cemetery Tour\u201d, \u201cSolstice
\nStroll\u201d, \u201cMurder, Mystery and Mayhem\u201d, and \u201cBehind the Scenes with
\nthe Director\u201d. These programs are interactive and provide a fun way to
\nlearn local history and support your local heritage museums.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cGroup Programs\u201d to find out more about each program, their appropriate
\nage group, the cost, and how to book reservations.<\/p>\n
Reservations for group programs should be made at least three weeks ahead
\nof time to ensure the date and time is available. For questions about the

\nMembers of the Society receive discounts on programs. Make sure to make
