Volunteer opportunities include construction<br \/>\nand non-construction roles, supporting activities like community outreach,<br \/>\ndevelopment and fundraising. <\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in learning about volunteer opportunities, the next<br \/>\nSouth Shore Habitat for Humanity Hanover Local Partnership Committee<br \/>\nMeeting (Hanover LPC) will be held June 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the First<br \/>\nCongregational Church, Riley Hall, 17 Silver Street, Hanover. Subsequent<br \/>\nmeetings will be held the first Wednesday of each month.<\/p>\n<p>South Shore Habitat for Humanity is a 501c3 non-profit organization<br \/>\ndedicated to delivering simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership<br \/>\nwith families in need.  Based in Weymouth, it serves 35 cities and towns<br \/>\nsouth and southwest of Boston.  Founded in 1986 as an independent,<br \/>\nnon-profit organization, South Shore Habitat works together with families,<br \/>\nvolunteers, congregations, and community and business leaders to help local<br \/>\nfamilies living in inadequate housing move into simple, decent, affordable<br \/>\nhomes of their own.
