\nI continue to be amazed by Hanover mother Jan Perry’s devotion to her late
\nson and her commitment to fundraising in his name. What follows is a
\nletter from her committee and their efforts to “do good” in Josh’s name:<\/p>\n
“We wanted to share an unbelievable opportunity for the Joshua Perry
\nScholarship Fund.<\/p>\n
As you may know, StayClassy.org is the website that powers the tournament
\nfundraising website. They have graciously offered to match any donation up
\nto $1,000. All you need to do is log in to the
\nwww.joshuaperrytournament.stayclassy.org website and make a donation (no
\namount is too small!)<\/p>\n
We are reaching out to all our friends, family, associates and all their
\nfriends to help make this $1,000 become $2,000.<\/p>\n
On a personal note, it’s truly amazing the generosity of all of you! Every
\nbit counts towards the goal of giving students an opportunity to continue
\ntheir education or start a business in a field of their passion. Today is
\nthe SSVT graduation where the scholarship winners will be announced from
\nthe funds of last year’s golf tournament. Each student who applied for the
\nscholarship, had to perform a pay-it-forward task. It was amazing reading
\ntheir stories and the positive feelings this task created. With your help,
\nwe were all able to give these students their first step to success!<\/p>\n
So we are asking for your help with this matching opportunity and pass this
\nmessage on to others. We look forward to watching the transformation of
\nthis donation-match double.<\/p>\n
