Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Hanover Town Clerk Cathy Harder-Bernier announced that Wednesday, August
\n20th is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming state primary
\nelection. Town Hall will be open from 8:00 a.m. \u2013 8:00 p.m. on the 20th.<\/p>\n
Any Hanover citizen who will be eighteen on or before the Election Day is
\nencouraged to register to vote. Once registered, individuals will be
\neligible to vote in the State Primary scheduled to be held on Tuesday,
\nSeptember 9, 2014, and in elections thereafter.<\/p>\n
Citizens of Hanover may conveniently register to vote by mail or in person.
\nIf residents choose to register by mail they should download the
\n\u201cMassachusetts Mail-In Voter Registration Form\u201d from
\nwww.sec.state.ma.us and mail the completed form to the Hanover Town
\nClerk\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
If voters wish to register to vote in person, they may do so at two
\nconvenient locations: Hanover Town Hall or the Registry of Motor Vehicles.<\/p>\n
\u201cResidents who register to vote in person have the added privilege of
\npersonally signing the Town\u2019s Register of Voters, a book that has existed
\nin the town since 1884. Come become a part of Hanover\u2019s history!\u201d said
