It is printed here in its entirety, as<br \/>\nthere is much to share!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the last two and a half years I formed many friendships here and in<br \/>\nHanover with some great memories, so it is with some sadness that I tell<br \/>\nyou I have accepted a position with a wonderful museum in Annapolis,<br \/>\nMaryland.  I will be leaving at the end of the month to start this new<br \/>\nchapter of my life. I want to thank each one of you for making my time at<br \/>\nthe Hanover Historical Society memorable and I will always look back with<br \/>\nfondness at my time here.<\/p>\n<p>The Society has changed a lot in the last couple of years. We now have a<br \/>\nstrategic plan, new exhibits, and several public programs which attract<br \/>\ndiverse audiences. I know that the Society is on a good path for the<br \/>\nfuture, and I am confident it will be successful in the coming years<br \/>\npromoting and preserving Hanover&#8217;s history.<\/p>\n<p>The Society has named Aaron Dougherty as the new part time Interim<br \/>\nExecutive Director. Aaron is originally from Michigan but has been living<br \/>\nin New England since 2010 when he moved to Plymouth and accepted a job at<br \/>\nPlymouth Plantation as an interpreter. Aaron has worked in different<br \/>\ncapacities at Pilgrim Hall Museum, Boston Historical National Park, and<br \/>\nmost recently at the 1699 Historic Winslow House Museum and Cultural Center<br \/>\nin Marshfield where he is their part time interim Executive Director.
