Please join the Professional Firefighters of Hanover on September 27th from
\n10:00 a.m.?to 3:00 p.m. at B. Everett Hall Field in the center of town
\nfor their Third Annual Touch A Truck Fundraiser. This will be another fun
\nfilled family event that offers kids and?adults alike a chance to see the
\nbig rigs and equipment that travel through our community every day! This
\nyear is bigger than years past with the ability to get up close to, touch
\nand climb?inside and out of over 30 vehicles that will be on display!
\nThe growing list of participants includes: Town of Hanover public safety
\nvehicles, P.A. Landers, Capeway Towing, Pilgrim Propane, Ingle
\nBus,?Gallant Grader, Pilgrim Paving, Duxbury Fire Department,
\nMassachusetts National Guard, Village Green Landscape, JF Price and many
\nmore!?<\/p>\n
Along with the vehicles and other equipment will be food, music, face
\npainting, an ice cream truck, raffles, t-shirts for sale, a balloon artist
\nand bounce houses. This year will once again feature Child Safety Seat
\nInstallation Information sponsored by the Hanover Police Department and
\nChild ID Kits sponsored by the Plymouth County Sheriff. There will also be
\nvendors and other participants such as Edaville USA, South Shore
\nChildren\u2019s Museum and Elite Football Academy to name a few. And don\u2019t
\nforget about the \u201clegendary\u201d ladder truck candy drop! <\/p>\n
Come on down to B. Everett Hall Field (near the Bandstand) and?bring the
\nfamily for what promises to be another great time for all! Admission will
\nbe a “suggested donation” of $3 per person or $5 for two people; maximum
\n$20 per family. This event is a fundraiser for a community organization or
\nprogram. In the two previous years, proceeds went to the American Liver
\nFoundation and Hanover Food Pantry, respectively. Proceeds this?year
\nwill be used to purchase, install and promote an AED at Forge Pond Park.<\/p>\n
