Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nI had the good fortune to attend the Massachusetts Town Clerk\u2019s
\nAssociation Fall Conference in Springfield this past week and am grateful
\nfor the opportunity to attend. I learned so much \u2013 about business
\ncertificates, document preservation, ethics, local mandates including those
\nrelated to the new election laws, and so much more.<\/p>\n
The only downside is that I therefore sometimes miss the opportunity to be
\nas timely as I might like with my \u201cAround Town on the Web\u201d postings.
\nSo, I beg for your understanding as I send along two different notices in
\nthis e-blast so that you will get both before tomorrow.<\/p>\n
The Hanover Newcomers Club is proud to announce the 6th running of the
\nHanover Anchor Race, Sunday, October 5, 2014.
\n9:00 a.m. Free Fun Run (ages 1-10)
\n10:00 a.m. 5K Road Race (3.1 miles)
\nStart and finish at Cedar Elementary School, 265 Cedar Street.
\nA 3.1 Mile Race thru Hanover to support HANOVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS (thru HFEE)
\nRace Day Registration 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at Cedar School: $20 Student,
\n$30 Adult, $60 Family
\nFamily Friendly Post-Race-Party at Squires – 1:00 p.m. Free appetizers,
\npizza and other yummy food, raffles, prizes, and silent auction.
\nAll proceeds benefit the Hanover Foundation for Educational Enrichment,
\nwhich supports all public schools in Hanover. All events are rain or shine.

\nThe Hanover Girl Scout Service Unit will be holding a Fall Fun Day on
\nSunday, October 5th at Forge Pond Park. The event will run from 3:00 –
\n4:30. This is a casual event of field games and socializing with Girl Scout
\nfriends. The event is open to all registered Hanover Girl Scouts and anyone
\nnew who is interested in joining this year. A registration table will be
\nset up with information and to register your daughter with a troop.
