Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Hanover Town Clerk Cathy Harder-Bernier announced that absentee ballot
\napplications are available now in the Hanover Town Clerk\u2019s Office for all
\nvoters living in Hanover wishing to vote by absentee ballot in the State
\nElection. The election will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Voters may
\nneed to vote by absentee ballot for several reasons.<\/p>\n
Absentee ballot applications are for use by registered voters who are
\nunable to vote at the polls on Election Day due to:
\n1)\t Absence from the Town of Hanover during normal polling hours (7:00 a.m.
\n\u2013 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4); or
\n2)\tPhysical disability preventing you from going to the polling place; or
\n3)\tReligious belief;
\nOR
\nNon-registered voters who are:
\n1)\t A Massachusetts citizen absent from the state; or
\n2)\tAn active member of the armed forces or merchant marines, their spouse
\nor dependent; or
\n3)\tA person confined in a correctional facility or a jail, except if by
\nreason of felony conviction.
\nIf you will be voting absentee, please allow extra time due to the five
\nballot questions and length of the ballot. Applications for absentee
\nballots must be received by noon on the day before the election, in this
\ncase, by noon on Monday, November 3, 2014. For more information about the
