It would be hard to miss the fact that Election Day is this coming Tuesday,
\nNovember 4th. Between the commercials, debates, newspaper headlines and
\nphone calls, the candidates and ballot question activists have been very
\nbusy trying to influence our votes.<\/p>\n
Here in Hanover, I as your Town Clerk stand ready to help you exercise the
\ngreatest gift of democracy – the right to vote. The polls are open from
\n7:00 a.m. \u2013 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. All four precincts vote at Hanover
\nHigh School, which is located at 287 Cedar Street. If you would like to
\ndouble check that you are registered to vote before you go, just go to:
\nhttp:\/\/www.sec.state.ma.us\/VoterRegistrationSearch\/MyVoterRegStatus.aspx .<\/p>\n
The ballot is long and there are five (count \u2018em!) questions, not to
\nmention the candidates running in a total of 14 different contests. You
\nare encouraged to read the ballot and prepare how you wish to vote prior to
\narriving at the polls. Also, a large turnout is expected and lines could
\nbe long, so please allow extra time. Help us to help you to vote with
