Mass Murder!<\/p>\n
On November 4 at 7:00 p.m., the Friends of the John Curtis Free Library
\nwill sponsor a fully illustrated lecture by historian Chris Daley
\nconcerning some of Massachusetts\u2019 most infamous murder cases. If you
\nlike mystery, suspense and a little blood and gore, you will love this
\nprogram! Included in the cases examined is the \u201cboy fiend\u201d, the
\nyoungest person in the Commonwealth to be convicted of murder and also the
\nlongest \u201clifer\u201d in the state\u2019s history; Jane Toppan, a nurse on the
\nCape who poisoned her patients; the Weymouth \u201cmerry widow\u201d whose body
\nwas dismembered and dumped into Boston Harbor; and the Boston Strangler and
\nLizzie Borden. There is no admission charge for this program. The Library
\nis located on Route 139 in Hanover Center.
