Hanover Parks and Recreation presents
\nBlue Hills Ski and Snowboard Lessons!<\/p>\n
Once again this winter Parks and Rec will be offering ski and snowboard
\nlessons at Blue Hills! Children ages 7-15 are eligible. Buses will leave
\nthe Rec Center at 3:15 p.m. sharp on Tuesday afternoons. 75 minute lessons
\nwill begin at 4:30 p.m., and buses will depart from Blue Hills at 6:00
\np.m., arriving back at the Rec Center at 6:45-7:00 p.m. (due to traffic
\ntime may vary by a few minutes). This year Blue Hills is including a
\nvoucher to come back and ski or snowboard during the 2015 winter season!
\nChildren can choose to bring or rent equipment. Helmets are not required,
\nhowever they are STRONGLY encouraged. Classes will take place for 5
\nTuesdays starting January 6th. The group will be sharing a bus and
\ntraveling with Rockland again this year! Every participant will be given a
\nBlue Hills Pass to be worn during lessons, which is their pass to ski or
\nsnowboard. All participants will wear a Hanover Park and Rec vest to
\nclearly define them as part of the group. Participants do not need to
\nbring cell phones to our programs. Park and Rec is not responsible for
\nlost or damaged cell phones.<\/p>\n
When: Tuesdays 1\/6, 1\/13, 1\/20, 1\/27 and 2\/3 (additional weeks will be
\nadded on if there are weather closings, an email and phone call will go out
\nto notify participants if the mountain cancels a lesson due to inclement
\nweather).<\/p>\n
Where: Rec Center to Blue Hills<\/p>\n
Time: Bus leaves Rec Center at 3:15 p.m. sharp returning around 6:45-7:00
\np.m. depending on traffic (they will post on their Facebook page when they
\nleave the mountain)<\/p>\n
Ages: 7-15 <\/p>\n
Cost: $250 for ski\/snowboard lesson; $325 for ski\/snowboard lesson with
\nrental; $30 for helmet rental (strongly encouraged)<\/p>\n
