Register as soon as possible at the library<br \/>\nwith your $10 supply fee.<br \/>\nThe following are brought to you by the Friends of the John Curtis Free<br \/>\nLibrary:<br \/>\n\u2022\tPam Golden, a sculptor and art educator (www.pamgolden.com), will teach<br \/>\nchildren ages 6-8 to create clay animals, masks, puppets, and more.  This<br \/>\nclass will meet on Thursdays from 3:30 &#8211; 4:30 p.m. in the children\u2019s room<br \/>\nat the library from February 26 until April 2. This class will support 10<br \/>\nchildren. Preference is given to children who have not taken this class<br \/>\nbefore.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tKelly Burke, a Hanover artist and art educator<br \/>\n(www.saturdaystudioart.com ), will teach children ages 3-5 to explore a<br \/>\nvariety of different materials including chalk pastel, oil pastel,<br \/>\nwatercolor paints, model magic clay, collage materials and acrylic paint.<br \/>\nAll projects will be age appropriate, and parents are invited to attend<br \/>\n(especially for the younger children). This class will meet on Fridays from<br \/>\n10:15 &#8211; 11:15 a.m. in the children\u2019s room, February 27 through April 3.<br \/>\nThis class will support 10 children.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tKelly Burke, a Hanover artist and art educator<br \/>\n(www.saturdaystudioart.com ), will also teach adults to explore the uses of<br \/>\ndifferent materials. The class will focus on floral drawings using oil<br \/>\npastel, fruit arrangements using chalk pastel, watercolor landscape<br \/>\npaintings, and a Cape Cod inspired light house acrylic painting on canvas.<br \/>\nSome projects may need 2 classes to finish. This class will meet on Mondays<br \/>\nfrom 1 &#8211; 2 p.m. in the large meeting room downstairs from February 23<br \/>\nthrough March 30. This class will support 12 adults.<\/p>\n<p>All classes are fully funded by the Friends of the Library with<br \/>\nparticipants asked to pay only a $10 supply fee.  Registration is happening<br \/>\nnow with your $10 supply fee.  Children may be registered at the<br \/>\nchildren\u2019s circulation area while adults may register upstairs at the<br \/>\nadult circulation desk.
