Hanover Town Clerk Catherine Harder-Bernier reminded residents that 2015
\nTown of Hanover dog licenses are still available in the Hanover Town
\nClerk\u2019s Office. The licensing period is January 1, 2015 \u2013 April 30,
\n2015, and a $35 late fee applies beginning May 1, 2015. All dogs over the
\nage of 6 months are required by law to be licensed. <\/p>\n
Residents may fill out the dog license application that is found on-line on
\nthe Town Clerk\u2019s section of the Town of Hanover website at:
\nhttp:\/\/www.hanover-ma.gov\/sites\/hanoverma\/files\/file\/file\/hanover_dog_license_application.pdf
\n. Completed forms may be mailed in with payment, proof of rabies
\nvaccination, and appropriate pre-paid return mailing envelope to the Town
\nClerk\u2019s Office, 550 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA 02339 and your tag will
\nbe mailed back to you. As has always been the case, dog licenses may also
\nbe obtained in person at the Town Clerk\u2019s Office during normal business
\nhours. <\/p>\n
The license is good for one year. Unlicensed dogs are subject to a minimum
\nof a $25 fine, with an additional $25 fine if unleashed and $50 if
\nunvaccinated for rabies. Don\u2019t delay; get your dog\u2019s license today!<\/p>\n
