{"id":2419,"date":"2015-03-21T14:45:18","date_gmt":"2015-03-21T18:45:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/atotw.com\/archive\/?p=2419"},"modified":"2015-03-21T14:45:18","modified_gmt":"2015-03-21T18:45:18","slug":"hanover-day-save-the-date-and-sponsors-sought","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atotw.com\/archive\/?p=2419","title":{"rendered":"Hanover Day save the date and sponsors sought"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n<p>Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the ninth annual Hanover<br \/>\nDay community celebration on Saturday, June 20.<\/p>\n<p>The full day of activities, sponsored by the Hanover Cultural Council in<br \/>\ncooperation with many local organizations and area businesses, is a beloved<br \/>\ntradition among residents of all ages. All money raised by the event is<br \/>\ngiven back to community groups in the form of grants for the arts,<br \/>\nsciences, and humanities.  A special preview of the fun-filled carnival<br \/>\nwill take place again this year on Friday evening, June 19.<\/p>\n<p>Recipients of cultural council grants include the Hanover Public Schools,<br \/>\nthe John Curtis Free Library, Council on Aging, Hanover Historical Society,<br \/>\nand Hanover Public Schools dramatic arts programs, Mass Audubon, and area<br \/>\nmuseums.<br \/>\nAs in the past, Hanover Day will feature artisan crafts, demonstrations,<br \/>\ngames and activities for all ages, great food, live music and dancing by<br \/>\nlocal performers, and an incredible fireworks display over Hanover Center.<br \/>\nApproximately 10,000 people attend the event, and organizers are expecting<br \/>\nmany more to join this year\u2019s celebration, which will run from 10 a.m. to<br \/>\n11 p.m. at B. Everett Hall\/Sylvester Field on Route 139. <\/p>\n<p>To help support such a large undertaking, the planning committee has<br \/>\ndeveloped several sponsorship levels and is inviting local businesses to<br \/>\nhelp underwrite the musical and dance performances, kids\u2019 activities, and<br \/>\nmore.<\/p>\n<p>Local businesses and individuals are encouraged to support Hanover Day by<br \/>\nchoosing a level of sponsorship that suits their promotional budgets. The<br \/>\nexposure of being involved with Hanover Day is unbeatable!
