Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The South Shore YMCA filled a gap last fall when it
\nintroduced flag football to its line-up of program offerings for children.  The
\nBavis Arena in Rockland had previously hosted a flag football league that went
\nby the wayside after Bavis iced-over their one turf field and created another
\nhockey rink.  Lots of Hanover kids had a blast playing NFL flag football
\nat the Y last fall!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am pleased to bring you the following information about
\nthis spring’s flag football season at the Y, as follows:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Registration is now open for the South Shore
\nYMCA spring season of NFL flag football.  NFL FLAG is the premier youth
\nfootball league for boys and girls ages 9-14.  The program provides young
\nplayers a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact continuous
\naction while learning lessons in teamwork. There will be two age brackets: 9-11
\n& 12-14, and teams will include both boys & girls.  Teams consist
\nof 10 players.  Practices are once a week (days and times to be announced)
\nand players will play a six game schedule.  There will also be optional opportunities
\nfor exhibition games against outside groups.  Regular season games will be
\nplayed on Friday or Saturday afternoons, and the season begins Saturday, March
\n14, 2009.  All regular season games & practices will be held at the
\nSouth Shore YMCA outdoor field.  Teams are coached by parent volunteers.<\/span><\/p>\n

All
\nplayers will receive an NFL team identified jersey and NFL flag belt.  Cost
\nis $80 for full YMCA members and $110 for non-members.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>, fill out the form and mail or drop it and your payment off to the Y at
\n75 Mill Street in Hanover, attention: Linda Montoya.  Once your child is or
\nyour children are registered with the Y, an additional NFL Flag registration
\nlink will be sent to you. <\/p>\n
