Would you like to know what happened at Town Meeting? Were you out of
\ntown, or perhaps were only able to make it to one of the two nights? Or
\nmaybe you just plain forgot how we voted on an issue that is now of
\ninterest to you. <\/p>\n
Thanks to requests from two of Hanover’s most interested citizens, I as
\nTown Clerk have now started to post the “Town Meeting Journals” on the
\nTown’s website. Those records are now found here:
\nhttp:\/\/www.hanover-ma.gov\/town-clerk\/pages\/town-meeting-journals . Town
\nMeeting Journals eventually become part of the permanent record of the
\ntown. In fact, I have Town Meeting records dating back to 1727 in my
\noffice. But prior to this year, concerned citizens had to wait until the
\nTown Report was published in April in order to refresh their memories about
\nthe previous May’s meeting. Well, no longer.<\/p>\n
