It is with a heavy heart that I share the following news from the office of
\nState Senator Thomas P. Kennedy and his family:<\/p>\n
State Senator Thomas P. Kennedy, Democrat from Brockton, passed away on
\nJune 28, 2015 surrounded by family and friends.<\/p>\n
Senator Kennedy proudly represented the 2nd Plymouth and Bristol District
\nin the Massachusetts State Senate since 2009. Prior to joining the Senate,
\nTom served as a State Representative for his beloved City of Brockton since
\n1983. Senator Kennedy also served the City of a Brockton as a City
\nCouncilor and as the City’s first Ombudsman.<\/p>\n
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.<\/p>\n

I for one will miss this dear man, and I am sure many of you share my
\nsentiments. He was one of the good guys, and we were lucky to have him in
