Teen and Adult Events at the John Curtis Free Library for the Week of July
\n20th 2015<\/p>\n
All programs will be held at the John Curtis Free Library located at 534
\nHanover Street, Hanover, MA. For more information about any of these

Teen BookTalk Tuesday, July 21, 2015 2:00 p.m.
\nFor six weeks the library will be hosting an open book discussion group for
\nteens. The group will discuss any books, blogs, or any reading they\u2019ve
\ndone while enjoying some snacks. Ages 12-18.<\/p>\n
Knitting w\/Karen Tuesday, July 21, 2015 5:30 p.m.
\nBeginner knitting classes for teens and adults ages 13 and up. Learn how to
\nknit, purl, cast-on, bind-off, increase and decrease. Registration
\nrequired. <\/p>\n
Teen Yoga Tuesday, July 21, 2015 6:30 p.m.
\nJoin yoga instructor Becky Paul for a one hour session for teens ages
\n12-18. Mats will be provided or you can bring in your own. <\/p>\n
Adult Craft Time- Wood Burning Plaques & more. Wednesday, July 22, 2015
\n2:00 p.m.
\nAttendees will be encouraged to create personalized wood burned pieces of
\nart (various plaques and boxes will be available). Ages 18+. Limited space.
\nRefreshments will be served. <\/p>\n
Landscaping 101, Wednesday, July 22, 2015 7:00 p.m.
\nLearn about the basic needs of your plants, and how you can most easily
\nmeet the needs of your botanical companions, for years of happiness in the
\ngarden. Light refreshments will be served. <\/p>\n
Tech Thursdays-Commonwealth Catalog, Thursday, July 23, 2015 11:00 a.m.
\nEach week our reference librarian Donald will give an overview instruction
\non various technology services the library offers. This week’s instruction
\nwill be on the Commonwealth Catalog; a collection of library networks in
\nMassachusetts using a shared catalog for locating materials not readily
\navailable in OCLN. Participants needing more detailed hands on instructions
\nare welcomed to schedule an appointment with him.<\/p>\n
Doctor Who Bingo, Friday, July 24, 2015 2:00 p.m.
\nCome join us for an afternoon of food and fun! Prizes will be awarded and
\nsnacks\/drinks served. Registration is required. Ages 12 and up.<\/p>\n
Board Game Night, Friday, July 24, 2015 6:30 p.m.
\nBring your favorite board games or play with ours. An evening of
\nsocializing, snacks, and fun. Open to patrons 18+.<\/p>\n
