Making Friends with Farm Animals
\nAugust 12, 2:00 \u2013 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Back by popular demand! The Hanover Historical Society will host farm
\nanimals from Soule Homestead in Middleborough at the Stetson House Museum
\n(514 Hanover Street). Children are invited to meet and interact with
\nchickens and rabbits, as they learn how animals help farmers work and
\nprovide food. Each child will get hands-on experience spinning wool and
\nmaking butter. The program is appropriate for children ages 5 to 10. This
\nis a wonderful opportunity to foster an appreciation for the history and
\nongoing importance of animal husbandry. <\/p>\n
Program is limited to 30 children; reservations strongly encouraged. Cost
\nis $2\/child; $5 max\/family. Free for members. To make a reservation, please
