\u201cAre you aware that Hanover has an exciting opportunity to renovate and
\nexpand the Center\/Sylvester Elementary School? There are important
\ndecisions to be made in the weeks ahead that will help shape the future of
\nthe Hanover Public Schools, and we want you to be involved in the process.
\nYou are invited to a community forum and School Committee meeting next
\nWednesday evening, October 14th at 6:00 pm in the Hanover High School
\nauditorium. This forum will also be broadcast on HCTV and live-streamed on
\nthe HCTV website: HCTV Live-stream. Important decisions will be made over
\nthe next several weeks that require transparency and clarity of information
\nfor our entire community. We are at an important juncture in the building
\nproject, which affords us the opportunity to consider various design
\noptions and the future grade configuration of our two elementary schools.
\nThis forum will include:
\n\u2022\tUpdates from the Building Committee and School Configuration
\nSub-Committee
\n\u2022\tDesign plans and options for the Center\/Sylvester School
\n\u2022\tThe impact that the various design options will have on enrollment and
\nstudent placement across the district
\n\u2022\tPossibilities of using a neighborhood vs. a town-wide configuration
\nmodel
\n\u2022\tPotential impact on school transportation
\n\u2022\tMSBA reimbursement and financing levels
\n\u2022\tOpportunity for questions and feedback
\nWe are looking forward to a very productive evening on Wednesday and hope
