Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nPlease join the Open Space Committee and the Hanover Historical Society on
\nSaturday, October 24 at 3:00 p.m. for a one mile walk through woodland in
\nthe Phillips Sanctuary behind the Station Five Fire Museum. A vernal
\npool, old stone walls, and cart-paths make this a lovely fall walk. <\/p>\n
The Museum is also open for tours from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., and refreshments
\nwill be served. The museum, operated as a fire station from the early 20th
\ncentury until 1993, features exhibits on firefighting in Hanover and on the
\nNational Fireworks Company. <\/p>\n
Park at the Station Five Firehouse at 1095 Broadway. Sturdy shoes and
\ninsect\/tick repellant are advised. <\/p>\n
