Description:
\nThe Basic Rights workshop provides families with an introduction to their
\nrights and responsibilities under:
\n\u2022\tIndividuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
\n\u2022\tMassachusetts Special Education Law<\/p>\n
This workshop is designed to help parents learn to be effective partners
\nwith their child\u2019s school to decide their child\u2019s eligibility for
\nspecial education, and to plan, make decisions and monitor their child\u2019s
\nprogress in school.<\/p>\n
