Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nTime has almost run out to get an absentee ballot if you will be out of
\ntown during polling hours on Tuesday! Absentee ballots are also issued to
\nthose with a physical disability, or to those whose religious beliefs
\nprevent them from coming to the polls on Election Day.<\/p>\n
Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd at
\nHanover High School. We will be voting to fill the vacancy caused by the
\ndeath of State Senator Thomas P. Kennedy. <\/p>\n
If you need an absentee ballot, you must apply for one in the Town Clerk’s
\nOffice on Monday, November 2nd, before 12 noon. Applications are also
\navailable on-line at https:\/\/www.sec.state.ma.us\/ele\/ . All applications
\nmust be received by 12 noon on Monday or they will not be processed.<\/p>\n
If you have already applied for a ballot, it has to be returned to an
\nelection official at the polls no later than 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ballots
\nreceived after that date will not be counted.<\/p>\n
