We are excited to present a lively roundtable discussion on Inclusion in
\nthe Community. All are welcome to attend. Please see the attached flyer
\nfor more information.<\/p>\n
Speakers include:<\/p>\n
Joel Barrett: assistant principal at Cedar Elementary will discuss his
\nvision of inclusion in a school setting and in the community<\/p>\n
Emmy Casagrande: Inclusion Coordinator for the South Shore YMCA<\/p>\n
George Kippenhan: a local parent who will be sharing how inclusion has
\nimpacted his family, and in particular his daughter Mary, who is a member
\nof the Boston Junior Terriers Tier 1 Hockey Team and also happens to have
\ncerebral palsy
\nLaura McGonagle: As the Scituate HS swim coach and a swim instructor for
\nthe C.O.R.S.E. program and MASK Swim team, Lauren embraces inclusion in her
\nteaching<\/p>\n
Tracy Johnston: President of C.O.R.S.E.an organization providing
\nprogramming and community integration, offering high quality programs for
\nALL children in the community and allowing children with special needs to
\nparticipate alongside their friends and neighbors to reach their full
\npotential. <\/p>\n
Karen Gill & Maura Dowling: Special Needs CCD coordinators, Holy Mothers’
\nCollaborative<\/p>\n
