Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
The Friends of the John Curtis Free Library are happy to announce 2 art
\nclasses for adults to begin in March and run for 6 weeks, one in the
\nmorning and one in the evening.<\/p>\n
Kelly Burke, a Hanover artist and art educator (www.saturdaystudioart.com
\n), will teach adults to explore the uses of different materials. The class
\nwill focus on floral drawings using oil pastel, fruit arrangements using
\nchalk pastel, watercolor landscape paintings, and a Cape Cod inspired light
\nhouse acrylic painting on canvas. Some projects may need 2 classes to
\nfinish. <\/p>\n
Classes will meet on Mondays beginning March 14 and run through April 18.
\nThe morning class will run from 10:30-11:30 am in the large meeting room
\ndownstairs at the library. The evening class will run from 6:30-7:30 pm.
\nEach class will support 12 adults.<\/p>\n
All classes are fully funded by the Friends of the Library with
\nparticipants asked to pay only a $10 supply fee. Registration is happening
\nnow with your $10 supply fee — please register upstairs at the adult
\ncirculation desk. Sign up quickly as these spaces won’t last! Contact
