\nA memorable camp experience that has made a significant impact in the lives
\nof countless Hanover residents over the past 50+ years.<\/p>\n
OUR PURPOSE To provide an affordable, age-appropriate opportunity for all
\nparticipants to experience outdoor recreation, both passive and active with
\ntheir peers, all while creating great memories and new friends!
\nOUR PROGRAM Consists of eight sessions. Each grade travels together to
\ndifferent stations every 55 minutes, these stations range from arts &
\ncrafts, legos, sports to free play.
\nOUR PROMISE To do everything possible to allow all children to have the
\nbest imaginable summer by creating many opportunities for children to have
\nfun all summer long!<\/p>\n

*We have a new name for our program this year! Little Rec was previously
\nknown as Summer Kids Klub<\/p>\n

\nAn introductory program to get young children and families interested in
\nPark and Rec summer activities and place where first friends are made!<\/p>\n
OUR PURPOSE To provide an affordable, age-appropriate opportunity for
\nparticipants to socialize and have fun with other children their age.
\nLittle Rec (previously called Kids Klub) will serve as a first Park & Rec
\nexperience for future participants creating lifelong fans of our summer
\nprograms!
\nOUR PROGRAM Is an unique and fun program that runs over the course of
\neight weeks. The children are divided into counselor groups to travel with
\ntheir groups to different assigned stations throughout their day. <\/p>\n
OUR PROMISE We understand that for many children this may be the first
\ntime that they have been away from their parents\/guardians for an extended
\nperiod of time. We promise that your children will enjoy themselves while
\ncreating new friends in a fun and safe environment! <\/p>\n
Summer Teen Extreme
\nat the Center School Gymnasium (and field trips all over New England)<\/p>\n
5th-8th Grade *as of June 2016
\nMonday-Thursday
\n9:00am-2:00pm *hours may vary with some field trips
\n$165\/session

\nOn Site Day: Monday
\nField Trip Days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

\nAn exciting and unique experience for middle schoolers bridging the gap
\nbetween organized summer activities and field trips.<\/p>\n
OUR PURPOSE To provide an affordable, age-appropriate opportunity for
\nmiddle schoolers to socialize and stay active during the summer with
\nfriends!<\/p>\n
OUR PROGRAM Is a field trip based program with one on site day that
\nconsists of eight sessions. Each week, children travel to new and exciting
\nplaces across New England.
\nOUR PROMISE To create a fun and engaging summer for our middle schoolers
\nto enjoy and experience each week of the summer! <\/p>\n

\nCounselor In Training Program (CIT)<\/p>\n
The Counselor in Training program is offered as part of our summer program.
\nThis CIT program is suited for youth ages 13-15. The CIT program is
\ndesigned for those individuals who are interested in learning about
\nleadership and working with children. CIT\u2019s assist in the administration
\nof the program and in the execution of summer program logistics such as,
\ndrop-off, pick-up and equipment set up and take down. It will offer
\nparticipants the opportunity to learn the core fundamentals of recreation
\nand to gain experience with these skills assisting staff throughout the
\nsummer. The CIT works with the Recreation Administrator, Program Directors
\nand the Playground Assistants. <\/p>\n

\nSummer Partnership with the Office of Family and Community Engagement<\/p>\n
New this year we will be partnering with the Office of Family and Community
\nEngagement to offer an amazing opportunity for our program participants!
\nThis half day option of Park & Rec is only for children participating in
\nthis partnership. To register for the Park & Rec portion please email
\nlauren.rodday@hanover-ma.gov, to register for the FACE portion visit
\nhttp:\/\/hanoverschools.org\/esp\/enrichment\/index.htm<\/p>\n
Option 1: Participants attend a FACE enrichment class, then attend Park &
\nRec 12:30pm-2:30pm for $50
\n*If extended hours are needed please register for ACE (After Camp
\nExtension)
\nOption 2: Participants attend Park & Rec 8:30am-11:30am for $75, then
\nattend a FACE enrichment class<\/p>\n
