Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n

Pamela
\nJolly will be leading a two-part conversation that is open to the public at
\nFirst Congregational Church in March on how to manage budgets faithfully. 
\nPam has worked in financial management and investment strategies for nearly two
\ndecades.  In 2005 her company, Torch, accepted a subcontract role with
\nFEMA.  Thus, Pamela worked distributing federal appropriations to communities
\nand municipalities in the Southern Gulf Coast, and served as a team leader for
\nthe writing of the strategic plan for rebuilding New Orleans.  After
\nseeing the inequality in the rebuilding efforts, Pamela felt led to launch
\nOneTorch, a non-profit subsidiary of Torch which works with residents and grass
\nroots organizations on how to understand and overcome financial oppression.  The
\norganization is following the Book of Ezra as a model to assist the return of
\nresidents to rebuild the undeserved communities of New Orleans with ownership
\nand equity.  Pam, a student at Boston University School of Theology, will
\nhelp participants look at their own strategies in these challenging
\ntimes to help them make the most of the resources they have.  Participants
\nwill also explore ways to use their resources to improve our community and
\nour world.  Melding modern financial wisdom with ancient spiritual insight,
\npartakers will discover possibilities they didn’t know were within their
\nreach.   The program will be held on Monday, March 2nd
\nand Monday, March 16th at 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational
\nChurch of Hanover, UCC.  There is no fee for this program and refreshments
