Every year for the past 4 years I have received information about the Josh
\nPerry Golf Tournament, and a year hasn’t gone by that this doesn’t hit me
\nhard – even though I never knew him. Please join me in supporting this
\nHanover family.<\/p>\n
4th ANNUAL JOSHUA PERRY<\/p>\n
SCHOLARSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT<\/p>\n
Welcome to the 4th annual scholarship golf tournament in memory of Joshua,
\nwho passed away at the young age of 17.<\/p>\n
Josh was a very active kid who loved to ride his BMX bike for hours at a
\ntime with his friends. He used to say that while he rode, he felt he was
\nfree and could do anything. Along with riding, he loved to keep his friends
\n& family laughing with his little noises & one-liner remarks. Many times
\nthose noises and remarks coupled with his smile and sense of humor would
\nreduce the trouble he would get himself into…both at home and at school.
\nHe had a very soft heart and would come to anyone\u2019s defense, no matter
\nthe cost. There is no doubt that he cherished his family and friends.<\/p>\n
With Josh\u2019s heartfelt intentions, we are raising funds for another year
\nof scholarships to help students at the South Shore Vocational Technical
\nHigh School. He would love knowing over $31,000 has been raised since the
\ninception of this event! These funds are marked for pay-it-forward
\nscholarships for the SSVT graduating seniors, tutoring for the 8th grade
\nHanover Middle School students to qualify for admission to the SSVT, and a
\ngeneral fund for all SSVT students who need financial assistance for their
\nshop requirements.<\/p>\n
With your help, we hope to surpass our last goal. We believe Josh is truly
\nsmiling down on all of us saying what he always said, \u201cCome on now!\u201d<\/p>\n
