This just in from one of Hanover High School’s finest seniors!<\/p>\n
“My name is Xander Dawson and I am a member of both the class of 2016 and
\nthe National Honor Society at Hanover High School. For my service project,
\n“Paperbacks for Prisoners” , I am collecting gently used paperback books
\nfor the Prison Book Program in Quincy. Most prisons do not allow friends or
\nfamily to send books to inmates, but The Prison Book Program has been
\nproviding free books to several thousand prisoners each year since 1972.
\nIn addition to requests for fiction, non-fiction, self-help, instructional
\nand entertainment books, the most requested books include dictionaries,
\nthesauruses and other language dictionaries and grammar books (Spanish,
\nFrench, German, etc.) From May 9 \u2013 18 there will be a drop box located
\noutside the front office at Hanover High School. As you do your spring
\ncleaning, please consider donating your used paperback books to this very
\nworthy cause. The books you donate may change someone\u2019s life. Thank
\nyou.<\/p>\n
