Town Clerk Catherine Harder-Bernier announced today that two job postings
\nfor election workers are now available on the town\u2019s website. <\/p>\n
\u201cEvery year scores of election workers work tirelessly on our Election
\nDays to ensure that Hanover residents are able to exercise one of the
\ngreatest privileges of our country\u2019s democracy, the right to vote,\u201d
\nsaid Harder-Bernier. \u201cWith early voting and a record turn-out
\nanticipated in November, we\u2019ll be very busy and will need lots of
\nenthusiastic staff,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n
Workers are being hired in anticipation of the September 8, 2016 State
\nPrimary Election, November 8, 2016 Presidential Election, a possible fall
\nschool override election, and the May 6, 2017 Annual Town Election.
\n\u201cHanover\u2019s elections are among the best well-run elections across the
\nstate. We look forward to adding and training new members to our team of
\nworkers\u201d, said Harder-Bernier.<\/p>\n
