Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
The Hanover Emergency Food Pantry has experienced a decline in cash
\ndonations over the past few months, and as we approach summer when need
\ncontinues, but most charitable activity takes a vacation, they may need to
\nadjust their distributions. Their clients visit the pantry once a month.
\nThe Hanover Food Pantry supplements their non-perishable food donations
\nwith a gift card to each client’s family so that they can purchase those
\nitems the pantry can’t provide – milk, eggs, cheese, meat. For example, a
\nsingle person receives a $10 gift card, family of two – $20, family of 3-4
\n– $25 and over – $35. The food pantry sees an average of 56 families per
\nmonth.<\/p>\n
The Hanover Food Pantry is so grateful for all the continued support they
\nreceive from so many people in our community – local churches, civic
\norganizations, school groups, girl and boy scouts, businesses, etc. Their
\nmost recent postal drive was very beneficial, but their current needs
\ninclude some monetary contributions.<\/p>\n
