I am always delighted to send out information about free services that
\nlocal businesses are providing to Hanover residents. Read on!<\/p>\n
DPS Insurance Group (www.dpsinsurancegroup.com), an insurance agency
\nestablished in 2013 serving the residential and commercial insurance needs
\nof the region, has provided the Town of Hanover with twelve sunscreen
\ndispensers to be installed at the community\u2019s six ballfields.<\/p>\n
Daniel and Debbie Sullivan, principals at DPS Insurance Group, are Hanover
\nresidents and opened their second location in the Town of Hanover in May
\n2016. <\/p>\n
The sunscreen dispensers, which are valued at $5,000, have been installed
\nby the Town\u2019s Recreation Department just as another busy season of
\noutdoor activities gets underway.<\/p>\n
The agency has been a staunch advocate of the prevention of melanoma,
\nconsidered the most deadly form of skin cancer. \u201cIt\u2019s about saving
\nlives, and about early detection and education,\u201d said Debbie Sullivan,
\nVice President of DPS Insurance. \u201cThere has been so much discussion about
\nthe importance of preventing melanoma; this is a cause near and dear to us.
\nMelanoma touches the lives of so many people. And people can be their own
\nbest advocates with education and adopting prevention measures, including
\nusing sunscreen when outdoors.\u201d<\/p>\n
She said, \u201cWe are very pleased, as Hanover residents and as business
\nowners who are opening a second office in our hometown, to be able to work
\nwith this community to take this step to help prevent the spread of
\nmelanoma. We encourage everyone who uses our town\u2019s recreational fields
\nto take advantage of this sunscreen that will be available. We also
\nencourage people everywhere to read up on melanoma and skin cancer and to
\nbe proactive in fighting this threat.\u201d<\/p>\n
